What is the ChalkTalk Engagement Strategies Guide?
This guide provides several different research-backed strategies for teachers to implement during the whole-group portion of the lesson. These strategies are simple but effective at increasing student engagement with a lesson.
Each of our lessons has also been updated with suggested points in the lesson where some of these strategies can be used to effectively facilitate both student interest and understanding of the topic. The guide itself gives a brief overview of how to implement the strategy with your students and can be particularly helpful for new teachers!
The guides are broken up by subject and offer slightly different strategies depending on what the subject is and how it is generally taught. ChalkTalk has chosen some of the most popular and easy to implement strategies in order to minimize additional work for teachers (we know you have enough to do!).
