Part 1: ChalkTalk Overview 💡

ChalkTalk provides daily, adaptive lesson plans for HS ELA & Math, aligned to key curricula (SAT, ACT, etc.) and proven to show growth on state tests. Each lesson includes teacher materials and personalized student practice.

Part 4: Monitoring Your Implementation Phases 📊

Your implementation typically follows these phases:

  1. Placement Phase: Teachers log in & administer the placement exam. (Goal: All students complete it).

  2. Learning Phase: Teachers and students actively use ChalkTalk. (Goal: Teachers follow the pacing guide).

  3. Exit Phase: Teachers administer the exit exam. (Goal: All students complete it).

  4. Review Phase: Teachers target specific skills before the official exam.


Part 5: Understanding Your Reports (Admin Dashboard) 📄

The Admin Dashboard is your central hub for data! Key downloadable reports include:

  • Placement Phase Report: Tracks test completion rates by school/teacher.

  • Login Phase Report: Monitors teacher logins (goal: 3+ logins in the first 2 weeks).

  • Activity Phase Report: Tracks teacher activity against pacing guide goals.

  • Skill Level Report (from Dashboard): Shows student skill progression over time.
