Part 1: How to Create Your Account (Manual Setup)

Follow these simple steps to create your account:

Go to <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=https://app.chalktalk.com/login" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">app.chalktalk.com/login</a>

Fill in all your information (First Name, Last Name, etc.)

Enter the section code (Your teacher will give you this code!)

1. Go to <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=https://app.chalktalk.com/login" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">app.chalktalk.com/login</a>
2. Click on "Create Account"
3. Select "I'm a student"
4. Fill in all your information (First Name, Last Name, etc.)
5. Enter the section code (Your teacher will give you this code!)
6. Click on "Create account"

Once your account is ready, logging in is easy.

If you are a Clever user: Just click the big blue "Clever" button to log in.

If you are not a Clever user: Enter your email and password, then click "Login."

Part 3: How to Switch Between Sections 🔄

Are you in more than one ChalkTalk class? It's easy to switch between them!

Look at the top-left corner of your screen, right below the main course name.

You'll see your current section name displayed. Click on the dropdown arrow (▼) next to it.

A list of all the sections you are enrolled in will appear.

Simply click on the name of the section you want to switch to.

The page will refresh, and you'll be in the correct class! 👍

When it's time for a big test, here's what to do:

Click on the "Tests" icon 🛡️ on the left-hand navigation bar.

Select the test you should be taking (e.g., Practice Test 1, Practice Test 2).

Click the blue "Begin Test" button on the section that your teacher opened for you.

⚠️ Note: If you see a "Locked" message and can't begin, it just means your teacher hasn't unlocked that test section for the class yet. Let them know!

This is where you'll spend most of your time. Your lessons have two main types of activities: Group Activities and an Adaptive Practice.

If your teacher assigned you extra practice, it will show up on your dashboard as an Assignment.
