Section 3: Advanced Options

ChalkTalk offers advanced scheduling options that empower you to take your calendar management to the next level. Let's explore these features:

  1. Copying a Schedule From Another Section: Open the "Section information" pop-up and click on the "Copy Another Section" button. This allows you to select a pre-scheduled section, including those created by other teachers using the same course. The parameters will be copied into the Section Setup window, and you can save the changes to complete the scheduling process.

  2. Choosing to Include Foundational Lessons: Foundational Lessons provide extra instructional material to help students prepare for the coursework. You can add these lessons at the beginning of a subject if your students need the extra boost. Alternatively, you can skip them to allow more time for the core subject.
