How to Assign Students Adaptive Practice
From the Dashboard
Log into your ChalkTalk account
From the dashboard, select Practice Details
Click on Lessons then select the lesson you want. To assign practice, select the square icon next to the student's name. If you want to assign practice to all your students (mass assign), select the square icon next to Student Name.
From the Lesson tab
From the dashboard, select the Lesson icon to the left of the screen
Select your Subject
You will find a list of all the lessons on ChalkTalk, select the lesson you want to assign practice in
Select the Intervention tab for that lesson
Under Actions, select the Assign button for the students you want to assign practice to
How to Guide Students to Get to the Adaptive Practice
English / Writing & Language /Math
After completing each lesson, students can click on the "Adaptive Practice" tab shown below to start practicing
Reading
After completing all the lessons in a unit in the Reading section, students can scroll down and click on the practice found at the end of each unit, as shown below, and start practicing
