We’re always looking for ways to make lesson planning easier and more efficient for educators. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new in-app Pacing Guides—designed to help teachers plan, schedule, and adjust lessons with ease, all within the platform. By identifying the skill lessons with the most impact on student success, Pacing Guides ensure that educators can make the most of their available instructional time and better prepare students for college readiness exams.

📋 What’s New in This Phase?

📌Select your Content

No more navigating through all ChalkTalk lessons to find the lessons for your chosen pacing guide. Teachers can now hide the lessons not included in their chosen pacing guide directly from the Lesson tab.

  1. Select the Lessons tab.

  2. Select the Class Section.

  3. Select the Subject.

  4. Select your pacing guide to display only lessons included on that pacing guide. Want to see all lessons? Select "No Content."

📆 Schedule Lessons on your Calendar

Let the ChalkTalk calendar schedule your ChalkTalk lessons using our pacing guides. When you select a pacing guide:

• The calendar dynamically updates to show only the lessons from the selected guide.

• Lessons are auto-scheduled based on your schedule, creating a logical flow that saves you time and effort.

How it works

  1. Select the Calendar tab.

  2. Select Section Information.

  3. Enter requested schedule information.

  4. Select your Pacing Guide based on time available after entering your schedule.

  5. Click "Save"
