Part 1: For Students (I Forgot My Password!)

If you're trying to log in but get an error message, you likely have the wrong email or password.

  • Wrong Email? Ask your teacher to check your email address in their Course Management tab.

  • Forgot Password? Follow these steps to reset it:

  1. On the login page, click the "Forgot your password?" button.

  2. Enter your email address and click "Reset Password".

  3. You'll get an email with a reset link. Open that email and click the "Reset Your Password" button.

  4. Enter your new password, click "Set Password", and you're all set to log in!

Part 2: For Students (I Want to Change My Password)

If you're already logged in but want to change your password for security:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click on your Profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

  3. Select "Change Password".

  4. Enter your current password and your new password.

  5. Click "Submit". You'll get a confirmation message!

Part 3: For Teachers (My Student Can't Reset Their Password)

If a student tells you they clicked "Forgot Password" but the reset email never arrived, you can solve the problem for them in seconds.

Why didn't the student get the email?

  • It's in their Spam/Junk folder: This is the #1 cause. Ask them to check there first.

  • School District Filters: Your school's email firewall might be blocking the automated email.

  • Wrong Email: The student might be checking the wrong inbox.

How to Reset a Student's Password Manually:

  1. Log in to your teacher account.

  2. Go to the Course Management tab (on the left-hand side).

  3. Click on Students and find the student in your list.

  4. Click the three dots (โ‹ฎ) menu on the far right of their name.

  5. You have two options:

    • "Send reset link": This re-sends the password reset email to the student.

    • "Reset password": This lets you set a new password for them right away. You can either set a specific one or click "Reset" to use the default "SATworkshop" password.

That's it! ๐Ÿฅณ
