A rare issue that users can face is a bug affecting the seamless navigation of lesson slides. Our support team has extensively investigated this issue and found that it commonly occurs in instances of extremely low screen resolution. As we actively pursue an update to resolve this bug for low-resolution screens, our priority is to ensure uninterrupted enjoyment of ChalkTalk lessons for all users in the interim.
Understanding the Bug
Through extensive exposure to various scenarios over the past three years, we've identified some interesting edge cases. One such instance involves teachers using VGA projectors to display slides on the board. Like clockwork, the bug seems to manifest in this scenario, along with issues related to screen resolution. Notably, this problem doesn't appear with most HDMI projectors, pointing towards a specific interaction with VGA projectors and screen resolution complications.
Temporary Workaround
For those encountering difficulties in accessing lesson slides in full-screen mode, we recommend adjusting your screen resolution to a minimum of 1024 x 768. While we understand that this might be a temporary inconvenience, it will allow you to continue your lessons seamlessly until the official update is released. In some cases, simply hitting the space button can maneuver through the slides.

If the bug appears (blue arrow icon with no ability to advance slides or enter full-screen mode), unplug the projector.
Refresh the page.
Click the "full-screen" icon on the slides and enter full-screen mode.
Reconnect the projector. Now that the page is loaded, you should be able to navigate without issues.
