What is an Adaptive Practice?

Adaptive Practice is an extra practice to help you improve your skill level in every lesson you take on ChalkTalk. The more you practice, the more you improve!

How many times can I take an Adaptive Practice?

You may take the Adaptive Practice as many times as you'd like. Let's break it down a little more:

Each Adaptive Practice consists of 5 questions that you must complete to finish one whole practice

  • If you score 80% or higher (4/5 questions), your Skill Level increases by 1 number, as shown below


​

  • If you score lower than 40% (1/5 questions), your Skill Level will decrease by 1 number, as shown below :


How Are the Practices Adaptive?

There is a finite number of questions in our question bank, which allows you to take the test as many times as you'd like to!

You will see that as your skill level increases, the questions will get more challenging. The adaptivity of this practice will help you ace your test.

How Do I Find Out If My Teacher Assigned Me More Practice?

While you can take the adaptive practice anytime without it being assigned to you, your teacher may assign it to you for a number of different reasons.
