Part 1: What are Review Classes? π€
Think of it as an adaptive intervention. ChalkTalk automatically identifies a student's top 3 weakest areas (based on lessons you've taught and their practice data) and creates a special "Review Class" lesson just for them, revisiting those specific topics.
When do they appear? Review classes become available after a student has practiced at least 3 topics OR taken a full-length test.
Part 2: How are They Triggered? (Super Important!) β οΈ
For Review Classes to work correctly, you MUST take attendance in ChalkTalk when you teach a lesson! β Taking attendance is the only way to trigger our adaptive algorithm based on student performance.
Part 3: How to Access & Add Review Classes π
Review Classes are automatically scheduled based on your pacing guide, but you can also view or add them manually.
How to Access:
Go to the "Lessons" tab.
Select the Subject.
Click the content dropdown menu (might say "Curriculum") and choose "Review Classes".
Select a Review Class to see which students have it assigned and which practices they received.
How to Add: Want to add a Review Class manually? Check out this video:
Part 4: How to Review Student Answers π
Go to the Review Class in the Lessons tab (as described above).
You'll see student scores next to their names if they've completed the practice.
