A Step-by-Step Guide for Teachers to get started with us!

NOTE: If your district uses Clever or ClassLink, this article does not apply to you, as your accounts will be created through Clever/ClassLink'.

Welcome to ChalkTalk, an innovative platform designed to enhance your teaching experience and streamline classroom management. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the process of creating your account and joining a course while also creating your section. Whether you are a new teacher looking to set up your ChalkTalk account or an experienced educator seeking to optimize your teaching environment, these simple steps will have you up and running in no time. Let's dive in and explore the seamless journey of joining the ChalkTalk community.

Part 1: How to create your account

To create your account please follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on Create Account

  2. Select I'm a teacher

  3. Fill in all the information [e.g. First Name, Last Name, etc...]

  4. Click on Create account

Part 2: How to join a course and create your section

Step 1: Here is how to join your school's course.

  1. Click on Create or Join Course and enter the subscription code [ You can ask your Admin or Account Manager to provide you with it]

  2. Start by creating your section

    1. The "Create Section" pop-up window will open. Fill out the section name field and choose the grade level(s) and subjects for your section.

    2. Next, configure the schedule of the section to fit your requirements.

    3. Once you're satisfied with the schedule configuration, click on the "Save" button.

    4. Remember, you can edit the schedule at any time. If you need assistance with editing, refer to this helpful article.
